BISWA IJTEMA is the second largest Muslim religious gathering of the world after Mecca. Every year this event is organized in DHAKA, the capital of Bangladesh. People from across the country visit DHAKA by train to attend this event & most importantly to attend the Ijtema prayer. Train is the life line of Bangladesh & this mode is no exception here. The belief & faith on almighty is so intense that people of Bangladesh are prepared to face all ordeals of overcrowded trains. There is a major life risk associated with this journey as people have to travel on the roof top of the train because the current transportation can’t support this huge numbers of pilgrims. During the Owing to delayed arrival of train to its destination, people are compelled to perform their prayers within the moving trains & many of them perform it upon the roof top. This is reflection of their reverence towards the supreme power. Though this all together a risky job to do but there is no deficiency of the energy & the will. This Ijtema prayer is not limited to an individual’s benefit but to seek peace and tranquility for entire mankind.
