BLACK MEDUSA

I started out writing screenplays because I wanted to see my words and vision come to life on the big screen. I was inspired to pursue this dream after the death of my daughter Sharon. She lived twenty-three days and that made me realize how short life truly is and if you want something then you better go after it.  That screenplay is collecting dust with her name on the second page dedicated to her memory. The good from that screenplay,  I turned it into a novel and last year won an award for Most inspiring Author. 

That novel didn't make the cut for a cine book, but my short story, a spin-off from A FEW CASUALTIES SO WHAT has given me the chance to see my words and vision come live in an unusual but unique way for readers and book lovers to view literature in a cinematic format. BLACK MEDUSA introduces MERCURY SLIM. The name comes from my aunt's husband who lost the use of his hands. His real name Dave Wilson but my dad told me they called him Mercury Slim because of his lean build and he drove a Mercury.

I always thought it was a cool name nickname or real but great for a fictional character.  If I can get financial support for this project and dedicate BLACK MEDUSA  to my daughter and parents friend memory and it will show others who have dreams if you believe, dedicate yourself, then your dreams can come true.  I am looking for pledges starting at $10.00 and investors who believe in projects such as mine.
